This is a remix, because I like the melodies better, but... I am so amazingly glad I took the time to investigate Skinny Puppy and ohGr. Though they're terribly abstract, the lyrics just... ah.

Let's just say I haven't had such a personal connection with music since my Gorillaz phase.

Not so much a character as a personification of emotions... and it's a matter of comfort to have a form of control over those, as unreal as it is. He needs no real personality or story, because that's not what he is. Doesn't have a name, because none will fit. He's too abstract.
